Lake Bluff, IL – Designs by Sundown (DBS), a founding member of the Mariani Premier Group, recently hosted an exclusive small group event at their corporate headquarters in Littleton, CO. The event brought together several landscaping companies who successfully bid on the opportunity to participate at a recent fundraising auction in support of the National Association of Landscape Professionals Foundation.
The gathering was organized and led by Adam Hallauer, President and Design Director at DBS who shared the importance of this event. “We sponsored the auction package and organized this event in order to contribute to the advancement of the NALP. The participating companies, who successfully bid on the DBS sponsored auction packages, included Ground Up Services from Carthage, MO, Alaska Premier Services from Anchorage, AK, and Scapes from Roswell, GA. Representatives from the companies were given a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of DBS.
During the event, attendees engaged with DBS division managers and key operating personnel, gaining valuable insights into the factors that have contributed to their success. The event began with a meet and greet on the beautiful and award-winning grounds of DBS, offering attendees an opportunity to witness the exceptional craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail for which DBS and the entire Mariani Premier Group is known. The visit included tours of both the Landscape Architectural Studio/Administrative Building and the Operations/Maintenance facility, providing attendees with a comprehensive understanding of DBS’s operational excellence.
The evening concluded with a private dinner featuring Michael J. Hommel, the visionary founder of DBS who delivered keynote remarks, along with select members of the DBS team. This intimate gathering allowed for fruitful discussions and networking, showcasing DBS and the Mariani Premier Group’s continued commitment to fostering meaningful connections within the industry.
